Seasonal Sip- rhubarb soda

We're excited to relaunch our Seasonal Sip, Rhubarb Soda. This season, we are excited to partner with the Cook family again, 5th generation rhubarb farmers based in the iconic Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle. Their indoor rhubarb is bright pink, cultivated in complete darkness and hand-harvested by candlelight. The result? An absolutely delicious treat that truly stands out!

With our ethos of doing things differently, we followed our usual approach. Sourced the freshest Rhubarb, used the best ingredients, and created a drink that you simply can’t go wrong with.

FACT - This tangy treat has a serious heritage. Our rhubarb comes straight from the iconic Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle, where it’s grown using a traditional method called “forcing” that dates back to the 1800s. Rhubarb has been a British favourite since the late 18th century, and Yorkshire’s unique combo of rich soils and chilly weather makes it the perfect place to grow. In fact, most of the rhubarb eaten in the UK is grown in the Yorkshire triangle, inside dark sheds where the plants are harvested by candlelight. Seriously, you can even hear it growing! We’re talking proper old-school techniques. Roots are left outside for two years, then moved into special sheds, where the absence of light encourages a sweeter and more tender stalk. At one point, there were over 200 growers in Yorkshire alone, with nightly trains shipping it to London’s Covent Garden Market. Today, rhubarb is firmly back on the foodie radar, and it can now be found in everything from gin and pork dishes to scones and cheesecakes.

We believe in transparency, and that includes our ingredients. We proudly list the components of our drinks on every bottle, in a readable font size, so you know exactly what you're enjoying. Our Rhubarb Soda is made up of fresh Rhubarb juice, unrefined cane sugar, filtered water, organic apple cider vinegar, sea salt, black peppercorns and pink peppercorns. We don’t use any artificial ingredients whatsoever. It's also completely free from flavourings, sweeteners, and preservatives.
