Seasonal Sip - Rhubarb Soda

We're really excited to be launching our first ever Seasonal Sip on 17th April, our Rhubarb Soda. 
 
We drove up to the Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle at the end of March to meet the Cook family, 5th generation rhubarb farmers. Their indoor rhubarb is grown in the dark, hand-harvested by candle light and is absolutely delicious. 
 
We've pressed the rhubarb to extract its juice and have paired this with unrefined cane sugar, Essex sea salt, a small amount of apple cider vinegar and a mix of black & pink peppercorns.  
Rhubarb is often paired with apple or ginger, but we wanted the true taste of this vegetable to shine through - that's right it's a vegetable!! As well as launching our first seasonal drop, it's also our first vegetable soda.
 
If you fancy something a bit fun and indulgent, try topping this soda with a chunky scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious float.
